Arandas Blue Agave is family-owned and currently raising a crop of Weber's Blue Agave plants neaer Arandas, Jalisco. We have approximately 40,000 plants in the ground. The first cut baby plants (hijos) are now available for purchase through spring of 2008. Our 50 acre (20 hectares) field is in it's third year of growth with approximately five years to go until maturity with an expected harvest date of spring 2012. Based on tests of neighboring fields in the area, sweetness yield is expected to be among the highest in the state.
